What is really healthy – and why? Which food gives us energy, and which does not? And did you know how many bacteria we collect on our hands every day? During the Children Awareness Program, our students explored exactly these questions.
The children learned in a simple and practical way how important healthy food is for their bodies. They discovered that fresh fruits, vegetables, rice, and home-cooked meals give strength and help them learn better in school. At the same time, they also saw that too much sugar, junk food, and packaged snacks can make them tired and weak.
Another important topic was hygiene. The students were surprised to learn how many germs live on our hands. Through demonstrations and practical exercises, they understood why washing hands with soap is so important — especially before eating and after using the toilet. They practiced proper handwashing together and encouraged one another to build good habits.

It was very nice to see how attentive and happy the children were during the program. Many of them said they want to share what they learned at home with their parents and brothers and sisters. In this way, the program reaches beyond the classroom into the families.
A real highlight was the smiling faces at the end of the day. Every child received their own hygiene kit to take home. With soap, a toothbrush, and other useful items, the students were encouraged to practice what they learned in their daily life.
These small kits are more than just a gift. They remind the children every day how important health is — and that they can take simple steps to stay healthy.
